Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance and repair of all types of marine engines: Outboards/Inboards
- Performing work on boats and yachts, both service and rigging as needed
- Handle multiple work orders and utilize computer systems to document work that has been performed
- Troubleshoot, repair and install electrical accessories in boats including bilge pumps, charging systems, and steering systems
- Work with the Service Manager and General Manager to perform all tasks needed to run the business
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Have a general understanding of the Diagnostic Process, Two Stroke and Four Stroke Theory, Electrical Diagnostics, and general shop processes
- Have a clean driving record
- A very strong attention to quality work and detail
- Be able to work independently or with a team
- Be able to work in both in-door and outdoor environments
- Reliable transportation
- Weekend work required
